PSC CONGRATULATES GUYANA’S NATIONAL 20/20 CRICKET TEAM
TRUE CHAMPIONS

The Private Sector Commission joins with the nation in congratulating Guyana’s National 20/20 cricket team on their magnificent win in the Stanford competition.

At this time when the country is beleaguered by persistent, unremitting, organised, criminal activity and threatened by division, these young men, led by a disciplined and determined captain in the person of Ramnaresh Sarwan, have served to remind us on the field of sport of what Guyana and Guyanese can do and are truly made of.

At a time when our country so desperately needs its heroes to stand up and be counted in the face of adversity, like a beacon of shining light, our cricketers, both on and off the field of play, have shown us that we can, indeed, be one people united in a single national purpose. We thank them for their inspiration at this time.
