The Investment Facilitation and Promotion division acts as liaison for investors with government agencies and assists investors in setting up business in Guyana.  The section provides information on investment incentives and regulations and helps investors to access land or factory space for investment.  The agency also provides assistance in the setting up of joint venture operations with local companies.

The Export Promotion Division provides exporters with trade data on foreign markets and facilitates trade missions.  It also assists exporters in solving problems that arise in exporting and advises the Government on means of increasing exports.
